An escape to the coast.

Situated along Na Jomtien Beach, Veranda Resort Pattaya is a beachfront resort offering a tranquil escape just minutes from the bustling city of Pattaya. Surrounded by tropical gardens and stunning ocean views, this exclusive resort combines modern design with a touch of Thai charm, making it a premier destination for vacationers seeking both relaxation and style. Key to the resort’s success was the use of Conwood products, which provided the perfect solution to the design challenges posed by the coastal environment.

The need for resilience to deliver the experience.

Building a resort in a coastal area presents specific challenges, particularly regarding material durability. The resort is continuously exposed to harsh coastal winds, intense sunlight, and high humidity, all of which can significantly degrade building materials. For Veranda Resort Pattaya, the walls, floors, and outdoor decorative elements needed to withstand these conditions without losing their visual appeal. As a centerpiece of the accommodation, the deck, providing expansive views over the Gulf of Thailand, needed to deliver an incredible seaside experience with minimal disruption from maintenance work.

Durability at the edge of the biggest ocean on Earth.

Conwood’s decking proved to be the ideal solution for the project. The product’s weather-resistant properties made it ideal for the coastal climate. Unlike traditional wood, Conwood ensures the large decking area won’t fade, crack, or wear under exposure to strong sun or sea air. Its durability in such conditions guarantees that the resort’s aesthetic will remain intact, even after years of exposure to the elements.

Additionally, the product’s ease of installation—enabled by our T-lock system—allowed construction crews to fit the deck without drilling into the material, ensuring a smooth and time-efficient process. This also meant there were no screw heads, maintaining a clean, sophisticated look to meet the needs of the designers.

Conwood’s blend of beauty, durability, and practicality has made it an essential part of this project, ensuring minimum long-term maintenance and resilience to the environment.
